The iPod touch 8GB device completely changed my experience of listening to music. I ripped our entire CD collection to it and I can now find and play a particular song in an instant. Lightweight, small, and thin, I have it connected to a Bose docking station on a bookshelf and the sound is incredible for something with such a small foot print. I love my iphone, too, as well as my MacBook Pro, but the iPod touch 8GB has allowed me access to music that I'd forgotten I even owned. I think if I had it to do over again I'd purchase the 64gb, but I still have some room left on this one.

I had a 265w that I gave to my son and replaced with this one. It took a little time to get it setup like we wanted it. It has some changes from the old one that I don't like, just little things. The Garmin 2595LMT has made the change very easy, out standing display. You wouldn't think .7 inch increase would make a big difference but it does.

After traveling extensively across the US since 2004, I've use several GPS models and this Garmin 2595LMT by far is the best. The ease of use is the biggest thing, then the split screen with lane exit makes traveling in unfamilier areas so much easier. I'm an RVer and it's critical that we know which lane to be in before an exit..... we're 65'long.

The unit also does not seem compatible with the POI loader. It is unfortunate that Garmin nuvi 2595LMT does not have enough regard of it's customers to tell people this before they buy the unit and find out that they can't use trip plans that they spend hundreds of hours developing on Mapsource.

I've only had the Canon SX40 for 1 day , but in comparing the photo's from the SX30is I own to the Canon PowerShot SX40 the quality of the photo's are much sharper with true to life colors, the biggest improvement I see is in low light. The low light photo's are sharp and bright but with that natural lighting look.I purchased the SX30IS last fall and was generally happy with it. When I heard that the SX40HS was to have the new Digic 5 processor I jumped at it. I love the fact that it's an all in 1 camera, HD Video, zoom and wide angle photo's. This advanced Canon technology delivers stunning image quality with reduced noise and blur and for the first time in the super zoom it brings high-speed burst shooting and 1080p video to the party, even though the video looks super it's only at 24fps, why not 30 fps is beyond me. As I play more I'll add to this post. My SX30IS is up on E-Bay as I type this.

First off let me state that I never write reviews, but I'm so happy my doorman had this waiting for me yesterday evening. After getting acquainted with my new camera a bit, I have to say it's truly a big step up from the sx30 (which I also own). The Canon SX40 seems more responsive overall. The auto definitely works better. Pictures are crystal clear. And low light pictures are simply amazing. I even tested ISO 3200 with a nightlight and it produced a usable image with very little noise. Also, since the camera is more responsive to low light the zoom seems to work much better because low light zoom pics are very clear and have negligible noise.

After playing around with the Samsung UN46D8000 a little more this weekend, I noticed that the top of the screen had some light flickering (around where the bezel meets the screen and it was about 1/16" tall and went almost across the whole TV. I'm hoping it's not the "edge lighting.") It only did this on some channels on Directv. Most channels were fine and Blu-Ray was fine. I'm thinking it's either the receiver or possibly the cheap HDMI cable. I have a Monster M1000 series cable coming in later this week, so I'll switch it out and update.

A standard copy of the Gears of War 3 Console is most definitely acceptable, but a limited edition version of the game with the limited edition console makes more sense in my opinion. Inside the game case were some Gears of War 3 stickers, the game, 2 codes; one for Adam Fenix multiplayer character and the other for the Infected Omen weapon skins as well as the "Instruction Booklet". The "Instruction Booklet" is one page, folded in half. Its content is the controls to the game with a picture of the 360 controller as its main imagery. Not much there, but I guess it's once again being "green" by having practically no content. I'll leave reviews of the game up to the people who are doing that, but my two cents is that if you liked Gears 1 or 2 or both, then you'll be happy with 3. If you haven't played either before, as long as third person shooters are your thing, you'll like it as well.

The two Gears of War 3 controllers are very nice. I guess the new controllers Microsoft is selling now have a modifiable directional pad. You twist it around and it changes how the D-pad feels; either more like a + symbol or like the original 360 D-pad. I kinda like the + symbol myself. Oh, plus the D-pad is chrome on these Gears controllers. The surface is smooth to the touch (like a piano) where the face buttons are and has some texture on the bottom half (the side where your your fingers go). Just like any Xbox 360, wireless controller, these have great range. The Gears of War 3 graphics on them are pretty much the same as what is on the console itself, but that's a good thing as I find it very appealing. The controllers are already synced up to the console too making set up that much easier.

I think the mass of drooling reviews for Gears of War 3 speak for themselves, so I'm going to focus on this console. Beautifully painted in Gears' iconic crimson, it's a great tribute to the series. As one of Microsoft's new models, it's much quieter than the first generation Xbox 360s and a bit smaller. No complaints about the important hardware; Microsoft's definitely figured out what they're doing. The only thing I can nitpick is that the speaker for the custom sound effects is pitiful, and they are only activated when the physical buttons on the Gears of War 3 Console are used. Also, make note that these new consoles apparently only come with the old RCA composite cable, as opposed to the better component cables once included.
